Andriana Syrimi

Andriana Syrimi was born in 1997. In 2015 she graduated with honours from the Larnaca Music Lyceum and began her studies in the same year at the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University. She studied Conducting for Children's, School and Youth Choirs in the class of Christina Kalliaridou, graduating in December 2022 with honours.
During her studies she conducted the Ionian University Mixed Choir, the Corfu Children's Choir, the Corfu Choir Preparation Section and the Corfu Women's Choir.
As part of her studies she attended piano lessons with university teachers, reaching the level of 'A' Higher / Grade 7-8. During her first diploma concert ('Stabat Mater' by G.B. Pergolesi) she took on the orchestra preparation and piano accompaniment of the soloists and choir, and during her second diploma concert (Musical & Youth Choir) she taught choral choreography to the choir with the help of Katerina Pagiatis.
She actively participated in the recording and adaptation of traditional Corfu songs for children's choir, recording and adapting some of them under the guidance of her teacher Christina Kalliaridou, which the Corfu Children's Choir later recorded in July 2021.
She has attended choral conducting seminars with Joshihisa-Matthias Kinoshita, Zimfira Poloz, Romans Vanags and Ioannis Idomeneus. She is a member of the 'Ars Nova' Choir under the direction of Dr. Iakovos Dimitriou, and of the vocal ensemble 'C.Y.C.A Vocal Ensemble' under the direction of Nikolaos Therapontos, with performances in Germany, Sweden and Austria.
From July 2022 she has officially collaborated with the Livadia Municipality Choir as assistant conductor-pianist, recording songs in choral form and accompanying the choir in numerous events in Cyprus and abroad. In April 2023 she made the choral recording and arrangement of the two Byzantine hymns 'Agni Parthene Despoina' and 'Ti Ypermacho' as part of the event 'Cyprus Hymns the Theotokos', in which more than 400 choristers sang at the Holy Church of Agia Sophia in Nicosia.
From October 2023 she took over the Alambra Municipality Community Choir as conductor, and in the same year she took on the 'Music Propedeutics' and 'Choir' classes at Kleopatra Chrysostomou Music School. From September 2024 she has conducted the Choir of the Konteas Refugee Association. In October 2025 she took over the teaching of the Children's Choir and the 'Music Propedeutics' class at the art workshop 'The House of the Artist', as well as the teaching of Music Propedeutics in kindergartens in her city.
